Data collected in the Readers’ Room

When a signed-in reader submits a contribution, the site records the private ChatGPT identity used for authentication, the chosen public name or pseudonym, the contribution and its title where applicable, original language, spoiler choice, moderation status and creation or update dates.

Why private identity is used

The private identity is used only for authentication, security, abuse prevention, contribution ownership and moderation. It is not displayed publicly.

What may become public

After approval, the chosen public name or pseudonym and the submitted contribution may appear in the Readers’ Room. Email addresses and private identity are never included in the public response.

Promotional use

Readers’ Room contributions and private identity are not automatically used for promotional or email-marketing purposes. No newsletter is active.

Aggregate site analytics

To understand whether the website is being reached and which content leads readers towards Amazon, VARENIVA stores only aggregate first-party statistics: date, page, referring domain or campaign tag, country code supplied by the hosting infrastructure, broad device category and clicks on Amazon links. The VARENIVA analytics table does not store IP addresses, full referrer URLs, raw user-agent strings, email addresses, ChatGPT identities, cookies or visitor identifiers.

VARENIVA OS™ beta interest

If you register interest in a possible VARENIVA OS™ beta, VARENIVA stores the email address you provide, the selected language, the consent scope, the request status and its creation or update dates. These details are used only to evaluate beta interest and contact you about a possible testing phase; they are not added to a newsletter. The beta-interest record does not include your IP address, browser details or ChatGPT identity. Registration does not guarantee selection. You may request deletion through the contact below.
